I’m tall but I can fit myself surprisingly well in cramped places. So far Lotus Europa (old version) is the only car that I couldn’t fit in.

It seems the first time Markku Alén tried the Stratos they had to chop off the top of his helmet. Maybe that’s the reason why he used to compete with the 131?

Röhrl is another lanky guy who also drove a Stratos a couple of times. Before it actually happened I remember reading about other people in the business saying “surely he wouldn’t fit”.
